Middleton Train Depot - 1811 Parmenter Street Originally built in 1856 as the first rail station this side of the Mississippi River. In 1895, the station burned to the ground, and Chicago, Milwaukee and St.Paul Railroad rebuilt the structure as a late Victorian-style depot. National Registry, is now a visitor welcome center housing the office of the Middleton Tourism Commission.
